Carton Live Storage System (CLS)

Carton Live Storage System (CLS)

2006-7-4
Speedlock CLS is a unique storage and order picking system designed to increase order picking efficiency while saving on floorspace. CLS uses gravity to maximize the efficiency of full- and split-carton order picking operations. CLS is efficient, labor saving, versatile and adjustable.

After years' experience and optimization, Speedlock CLS's flowing frame, rollers and guides are specially designed to be able to adjust simply and easily, without any bolt and nut, assembly and disassembly, only adjusting some special connector. You can freely adjust these special connectors to change the angle of the flowing frame, and the quantities and space of the rollers and guides to suit for different goods.
Mezzanine Racking System (MR)

Mezzanine Racking System (MR)

2006-7-4
Speedlock Mezzanine Racking (SMR) is designed and produced according to the clients' requirements. SMR's modular components can be combined for multiple floor levels. The system includes stairways, handrails and safety gates, all of which combine to provide a safe, secure and attractive mezzanine floor.
Drive-In Racking System (DIR)

Drive-In Racking System (DIR)

2006-7-4
Speedlock Drive-In Racking (DIR)

Speedlock DIR consists of a continuous block of racking up to 10 meters high, undivided by aisles. Trucks can drive right into the centre of the block between any uprights on the front face to pick up pallets. Instead, the pallets are supported on the front to back edges by continuous rails cantilevered from the uprights at each pallet level.

Advantages include:

1) High density storage, low capital cost, no crushing of goods

2) No special handling equipment required

3) Suited to situations where individual selectivity is not important, and

the product rang is small, and the movement pattern is predictable,

e.g. seasonal goods where input and output take place at different

    times

4) Best suited to the high cost warehouse, e.g. cold room

Special requirements:

1) Limited selectivity; last in, first out (LIFO) stock rotation

2) Truck guidance recommended for systems storing more than four

    pallets deeps

3) Some pallet types are unsuitable

4) Lanes to be filled / emptied in vertical layers
Mobile Pallet Racking System (MPR)

Mobile Pallet Racking System (MPR)

2006-7-4
Speedlock Mobile Pallet Racking System (MPR) is individually power-driven and run on precision-laid steel rails. With this system one aisle can serve six, eight, ten or more racks. The racks being moved electrically to open up an aisle where required, direct accessing to every item of stock. Racks can be up to 12m high and of almost unlimited length. The rails have to be set into the floor. Throughput is generally slower than with static systems, except where remote control is incorporated.
Push Back Racking System (PBR)

Push Back Racking System (PBR)

2006-7-4
Speedlock Push Back Racking (PBR):

This is a high density pallet storage system in which pallets of like product are stored two, three and four deep on a slight upward incline (cart). The pallets are fed in and retrieved from the one aisle, with each pallet load being pushed into the structure by succeeding pallets so the first pallet in, become the last pallet out. This combines the storage density of Drive-in Racking with the retrieval capabilities of pallet flow racking. This system is best for applications where multiple pallets of individual pallet lines are stored and where the first in first out principle is not a criterion.

Features:

1) Highly efficient use of space

2) Reduced pick times

3) Order processing simplified by stock accessibility

4) Pick face automatically replenished

5) Risk of stock damage minimized; a variety of handling equipment

    may be used

6) There must be pallet to pallet contact thus disallowing front to back

    load overhang

7) Line pressure must be considered when specifying handling equipment

8) Special rail and cart is needed

9) 4 pallet depths is maximum

10) Pallets must be in good condition
Speedlock Double Deep Pallet Racking System (DDR)

Speedlock Double Deep Pallet Racking System (DDR)

2006-7-4
Speedlock Double Deep Pallet Racking System (DDR):

This system comprises Selective Pallet Racking constructed to store two pallets deep. Access to the rear pallets is gained by means of specially designed fork-lift trucks which are capable of "reaching" into the rack from an external aisle. Storage density is increased at the expense of selectivity. Maximum efficiency is gained when multiple pallet quantities of each product line are stored and where some degree of selectivity is important. Racking is limited to truck lift height of approximately 6 to 8 meters.
