Product Name: Ductile Cast Iron Pipe and Fittings

Our products are water-cooling metal centrifugal casting ductile cast
iron pipes such as "T""S""N1"types of joints with the effective length
6m;nominal diameter ranges form DN80mm to DN2400mm, according to the
standard ISO2531, 4179,8179.

Smelting and Molten Iron Spheroidization
After smelting by mid-frequency furnace we treat molten iron with
spheroidizing agent to adjust its composition.

Centrifugal Casting and Extracting from Molds
On a centrifuge, water-cooled metal mould process is adopted in
casting, Molten iron in the cupola is heated by an electric furnace
and after being spheroidized, it is cast into a pipe mould turning
at a high speed continuously. The molten iron sets into a ductile
iron pipe and cooled down by water then extracting from molds
according to set time strictly.

Heat Treatment
The qualified cast ductile iron pipe is put into an annealing
furnace to attain the required metallographic structure of ductile
iron.

Finishing
During finishing processes, the pipes will pass through visual
inspection, zinc spraying (if necessary), roundness checking, internal
grinding of spigot and socket, hydraulic pressure testing (or air test),
ring test chamfering, grinding, dimension checking and mechanical
properties test etc, in order to assure the quality of pipes. All pipes
are externally coated by metallic zinc and sprayed by bitumen according
to ISO8179.

Cement Lining
Cement mortar is lined onto the internal surface of each ductile
iron pipe to prevent water from being polluted and to increase
ability of transmitting water. All pipes are internally centrifugal
lined by cement mortar lining according to ISO4179.

Bitumen Coating
To prevent corrosion and give the pipe a good look every ductile
iron pipe is coated with bituminous paint, at the same time, it is
necessary to inspect external coating quality.
