Ordinary N1 generators produce negative ions by applying high negative voltage to metal needles so that they can discharge electricity. However, since the number of metal needles is limited, the concentration of N1 particles released is limited too. What's more, as metal needles are easily oxidized, rusted and eroded, the quantity of N1 particles emitted will decrease sharply over time and the output of ozone may even exceed the standard level for safety.
