After being dried, there is no crack and crisps on the coating surface. The coating surface is smooth and has high strength at normal and high temperature. As a result, the sand adherence on castings can be prevented and smooth casting surface can be obtained.



It should be noted that paste coating has low moisture content, easy transport storage and low cost. It should be diluted to slurry before applying. It is suitable for various molds and cores, including sodium silicate sand, oil sand, resin sand and synthetic fat oil. Mechanic stirring is necessary before using. The recommended rotate speed is ≥500rpm, and stirring time should be more than 15 minutes. Manual stirring is an alterative.



The coatings should be stored at cool place. Frozen is prohibited. Overdue coatings can be used if it does not ferment, turn odor or produce bubble. In case the package for SG-610A paste coating is broken and the coating gets hard, it can not be used anymore.



Instructions:

1) SY-110 coating:

    a) Used for spraying

    b) Add water (5 - 10% of coating) to dilute the coating and stir the mixture well

    c) Dipping is not allowed

    d) Coating surface area: 0.75 - 0.8m2/kg

    e) Coating thickness: 0.3 - 0.35mm

2) SY-610 coating:

    a) Add 3 - 5% water to dilute before use

    b) Stir the mixture well

    c) Baume should be within 48 - 54 Be'

    3) SG-610A paste coating: 

    a) Make the paste even with little water

    b) Then add more water to make the mixture with defined Baume concentration

    c) Do not over dilute the coating to avoid the reduction of suspension ability of 

        coating

    d) Suitable Baume concentration should be within 48 - 60 Be'

4) SY-810 coating

    a) Generally no need to dilute it

    b) If there is a need, the amount of water to be used should be less than 5% 

        of coating

    c) Can be used for brushing and spraying

5) SY-910 coating: 

    a) Generally no need to dilute it

    b) If there is a need, the amount of water to be used should be less than 5% 

        of coating

    c) Can be used for brushing and spraying
