Specifications: Iron Dextran, manufactured by the Guangxi Research Institute

of Chemical Industry, is a new type of quick acting veterinary medicine for

injection. It is a nationally patented product (China Invention Patent

Application Number: ZL88107217.6), and was listed in the "China Spark Program

Extension Project". Moreover, it obtained a "National Science and Technology

Advancement Award" in 1995 in addition to a "National Grade Emphasized New

Product Award". It also received approval to use the special "China Spark

Program High Quality Products" trademark in 1997. The product quality has

achieved the international advanced level.

Nowadays, Iron Dextran has proven to have stable capabilities and is being

provided to 40 million piglets around China. This product has been welcomed 

by all customers.

Specification: 10%, 15%, 20% in liquid, 40% in powder

Application: This product is a kind of organic injection with a high iron

content. It has a good effect on preventing and curing iron-deficiency anemia

in baby piglets, and promotes their growth. This product is also effective on

grown-up animals such as pigs, oxen, horses, sheep etc.

Use and Dosage: Each piglet should be injected with 1ml of Iron Dextran on 

the inside hind-leg within 2 - 3 days of birth. For grown-up animals, the 

dose should be increased correspondingly and injected at the routine position.

Action: 

1.Resists iron-deficiency anemia: Hemoglobin can be maintained at the level 

of 9.5g/100ml. The piglet shows a healthy skin color.

2.Enhances resisting power to diseases: It reduces vulnerability to diseases,

strengthens curing effects and improves the survival rate.

3.Promotes growth: The weight growth rate is generally raised by about 15%.

4.Early marketing: The piglet will be ready for marketing 10 days earlier 

than usual; thereby saving labor, feed, time, and medical costs.
