Features:

Recent reports of accidents involving sport utility vehicles have led to tire recalls

and finger-pointing at vehicle design, tire quality, tire pressure, or driver error as

the underlying cause of the problem. The argument continues, but one good thing

has come out of it: a heightened public awareness of proper tire inflation

practices. Every driver has by now been exposed to the message that the correct

pressure improves handling, increases gas mileage, and extends the life of

the tires.



Still, tire pressure is not something that most noncommercial drivers frequently

check and correct. Perhaps they need a reminder along the lines of the fuel, oil,

battery charge, and temperature gauges on the dashboard. In fact, US Congress 

has passed a bill, the TREAD Act, which empowers the National Highway Traffic 

Safety Administration to develop a standard for low tire pressure monitoring that 

will be mandatory for any vehicle sold in North America beginning in 2004. Overseas

automakers, while not required to comply, are expected to do so in response to

consumers' demands for safety and fuel efficiency measures.



However, another statistical data from Chinese Highway Traffic Accidents shows that

about 70% accidents are caused by tire exploded. Tire exploded has caused 93.9

thousand persons died in 2000, 100.59 thousand persons died in 2001, and 10.9

thousand died in 2002. 



Under this background, DESO tire pressure monitoring system is developed to fit the

Working principles:

The basic principle of TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System):

Installing a sensor on the tire hub or tire valve, in the sensor include the electricity

bridge type electronic air pressure induction device that can induct the air pressure,

it can transfer the air pressure signal to electricity signal, and then send it out 

through wireless electropult device. 



After that, the air pressure information which is sent by sensor is transacted by

the receiver, it will be showed on the display which is installed on the driving

console, and it will be actually monitored under driving process. Just from the

monitor, the driver can see the air pressure and temperature of every tire clearly.

When the air pressure and temperature is different from the appointed standard,

the monitor will alarm automatically. Accordingly the driver can treat with

the exceptional conditions in time and avoid the accident availably.
